Hacienda Del Alamo

Hacienda del Álamo is a heath and park course where Spain meets Arizona's desert courses and the contrasts become a striking visual experience. You get green fairways against chalk-white sand bunkers framed by waste areas adorned with ornamental grass and flowering shrubs. Hacienda del Álamo is no ball-swallowing course. Outside the fairway, it is easy to find your ball in waste areas which are also playable. The hilly sections are mainly at the green as some holes have undulating greens that require precision on the shots.

The golf course was inaugurated in 2006 and is designed by the well-known American course architect Dave Thomas.
The aim was to create a championship course in the exciting landscape - with fairly long holes,
strategically placed water obstacles, bunkers and waste areas - but also a track for everyone.

Miguel Ángel Jiménez: "All soccer fields are basically the same, tennis courts always the same dimensions, in almost all sports the place where you play is not decisive. In the case of golf, yes. The field is primordial, it is a true and only opponent. Of this reason, in this area you can find a passionate playmate, a luxury for life"
